Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join a global team delivering advanced electrical and electronic control systems for complex industrial and energy projects. You will own engineering workstreams from concept to delivery, guide other engineers, and collaborate with customers and partners across the UK, Poland and Vietnam.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering, strong design experience, and fluency in English.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering with strong theory foundation.
• Proven experience with electrical/electronic design, AC/DC systems, analogue/digital electronics and component selection.
• Fluent English with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; ability to write clear documentation.
• Able to create and interpret schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams and product documentation.
• Knowledge of IEC, CE and other international standards plus risk, EHS and QA processes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, PLM, Creo, Altium tools is a plus.
• Flexible, collaborative and able to support manufacturing, testing and offshore/workshop tasks when required.

Mansioni

• Provide technical oversight, run design reviews and guide engineers.
• Deliver electrical/electronic designs, analyses and calculations per standards.
• Produce and maintain engineering documentation (schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, BOMs).
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality engineering packages with safety and compliance.
• Respond to technical queries and support workshop/offshore activities and investigations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.
• Support development of power, control, communication and PCBA systems.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and promote best engineering practice.
