Job summary

Linea Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design of building services from concept through construction at a London Bridge location. The role offers exposure to large-scale data centres, commercial offices and high-end residential developments, with client-facing responsibilities and mentorship of junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree–qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience within an MEP contractor or Building Services consultancy.
• Proficiency with electrical building services design for commercial/mission–critical projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit and design software like Amtech, Dialux, Relux or Trimble ProDesign.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design of building services installations across multiple projects.
• Produce and review detailed calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical engineers, architects, consultants and subcontractors.
• Attend client, design and coordination meetings.
• Provide technical support throughout construction, including RFIs and site inspections.
• Mentor and support junior engineers to develop technical capability.
• Ensure compliance with current British Standards and project specifications.
