Job summary

Ganymede is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical building services across major projects. You will manage a talented team, engage clients, and influence design across a Tier 1 contractor and established consultancy network.

The role requires chartered status, strong BSE/MEP experience, and leadership across concept to construction. London, Liverpool, or Manchester locations with flexible working are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services is essential.
• Chartered Engineer with CIBSE or IET membership is required.
• Experience leading electrical design teams in building services.
• Strong communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of electrical building services across complex projects.
• Manage and drive the Electrical Engineering team for high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with mechanical and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated MEP solutions.
• Oversee designs from concept through to construction.
• Prepare/design feasibility studies, stages, and technical advice.
• Ensure designs are compliant, cost-effective and on programme.
• Support bids, tenders and business development opportunities.
• Develop long-term client relationships and communicate complex info clearly.
