Job summary

Hoare Lea, a human-centric and planet-conscious engineering consultancy, invites applications for a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Bristol team. You will deliver electrical design across multi-disciplinary projects with a collaborative, high performing culture.

You will lead technical delivery, develop concepts, engage with clients and stakeholders, and mentor the next generation of engineers within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering on a variety of complex projects.
• Experience with modern delivery processes and software such as BIM, Revit, Dialux and Relux.
• Demonstrated ability to work with clients, contractors and architects.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Lead development of initial strategic concepts ensuring compliance with brief and standards.
• Interact regularly with stakeholders; attend meetings and translate briefs to the project team.
• Work with the team leader to monitor fee expenditure, resources and output.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and graduates.
