Job summary

WSP in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal EIA Consultant to lead environmental inputs for energy T&D infrastructure projects. You will work with a range of technical specialists and design teams to drive environmental performance across sectors.

You will manage bids, project delivery and financials, oversee quality and safety, and mentor junior colleagues while promoting sustainable design and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• A relevant environmental degree level qualification in EIA, or similar.
• Chartered Environmental Status and IEMA membership or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with EIA processes and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation.
• Excellent report writing and attention to detail.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects (rail, highways, energy).
• Proven project management including commercial, risk, and QA.
