Job summary

Abingdon and Witney College is seeking an enthusiastic Study Programme Lead to join our Health & Early Years teams at the Abingdon campus. You will take course ownership, drive learner success and coordinate key aspects of the study programme with allocated remission time.

This role involves delivering high‑quality teaching and pastoral support, monitoring student progress, and supporting inductions, learning programmes and work experience opportunities under the guidance of the Curriculum

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher (or willing to work towards teaching qualification).
• Experience in Health & Early Years curriculum area beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to inspire and support students.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate study programmes within the curriculum area.
• Monitor and support student attendance, achievement, progress and progression.
• Conduct tutorials, academic reviews and performance management meetings.
• Support the planning of inductions, learning programmes and work experience opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
