Job summary

Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist - Echocardiography to join the expanding echocardiography service in Kingston upon Thames. You will perform and report adult TTE and contribute to subspecialty development.

The role offers opportunities for teaching and mentoring, with a focus on high-quality patient care and training of physiologists in a supportive environment within a leading NHS trust.

Qualifications

• Must have a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent and at least 2 years postgraduate experience performing and reporting TTE independently.
• Must hold or be working towards British Society of Echocardiography Level 2 Adult TTE Accreditation.
• Demonstrate commitment to training and service development within echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE).
• Contribute to development of subspecialty expertise within the echocardiography service.
• Support teaching and training of junior staff and trainees.
