Job summary

Dynatrace LLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer/Observability Engineer with deep Dynatrace expertise to join a major technology and platform engineering programme. This role goes beyond dashboards and requires ownership of Dynatrace implementation and ongoing reliability in large production environments.

You will lead observability initiatives, mentor other engineers, and influence cloud/spin-up of CI/CD and modern software delivery, with a focus on OneAgent,

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Dynatrace implementation and administration experience.
• Experience designing and implementing observability/monitoring solutions end-to-end.
• Strong SRE and production engineering background.
• Experience configuring instrumentation, metrics, alerting and monitoring.
• Understanding of technologies such as OneAgent, ActiveGate, distributed tracing and application/infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues using observability tooling.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Exposure to CI/CD, automation and modern software delivery.
• Kubernetes/containerisation experience beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to operate as a technical lead/SME, supporting and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own SRE/observability engineering initiatives across complex production environments.
• Design, implement and own Dynatrace-based observability solutions from setup to production support.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, acting as SME for reliability and monitoring topics.
