Lead Duty Nurse Manager
London: The Princess Grace Hospital
Full-time 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Sun)
Shifts: Flexibility to work long days, nights and weekends
Permanent contract

The Princess Grace Hospital is currently recruiting a Lead Duty Nurse Manager to join the team.
Reporting to the Medical Matron, the Lead Duty Nurse Manager will lead and operationally manage a 24/7 Clinical Site Management team to ensure effective site management, including bed usage and admission pathways throughout the hospital. The role involves keeping the CNO and Senior Leadership team updated on flow, blockages, and solutions, working collaboratively with Matrons.
The post involves operational leadership of site issues, facilitating patient flow to ensure timely admissions, appropriate treatment, and signposting to alternative services per care protocols. The Lead Duty Nurse Manager and team will oversee clinical operations and support non-clinical teams to maintain hospital safety and efficiency. After hours, the DNM is the most senior nurse on site, responsible for medical gases, medicine safety, staffing, safeguarding, incident management, and safe care delivery.
