Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer (DSP) in Macclesfield, on-site four days a week with Friday work-from-home. Salary ranges from £55,000 to £65,000 and includes a bonus plus an 8% employer pension contribution and flexible working.

You will own the design and development of new hardware and embedded firmware, supporting and enhancing existing products. Strong DSP knowledge, embedded C, and experience with ARM/STM32 and FreeRTOS are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong hardware design expertise and embedded C programming skills.
• Extensive experience with digital signal processing techniques (DSP).
• Experience with optoelectronics, ARM microcontrollers, and FreeRTOS would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of advanced PCB layout techniques (HDI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new hardware and firmware solutions.
• Maintain, enhance and support existing electronic products.
• Perform digital and analogue circuit design.
• Handle signal acquisition, A/D conversion and DSP tasks.
• Lead PCB design and layout for new product developments.
