Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer (DSP) in Macclesfield, on-site four days a week with Friday work-from-home. Salary ranges from £55,000 to £65,000 and includes a bonus plus an 8% employer pension contribution and flexible working.

You will own the design and development of new hardware and embedded firmware, supporting and enhancing existing products. Strong DSP knowledge, embedded C, and experience with ARM/STM32 and FreeRTOS are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong hardware design expertise and embedded C programming skills.
• Extensive experience with digital signal processing techniques (DSP).
• Experience with optoelectronics, ARM microcontrollers, and FreeRTOS would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of advanced PCB layout techniques (HDI) is a plus.

Principal Electronics Engineer (DSP) - Macclesfield (4 Days On-Site, Friday WFH) - £55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + 8% Employer Pension Contribution + Flexible Working

Are you a Senior/Principal Electronics Engineer with a strong background in hardware and firmware development, looking to join a specialist engineering business where you can play a key role in the design of cutting-edge technology?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team, taking ownership of the design and development of new electronic hardware and embedded firmware solutions while supporting and enhancing existing product lines.

Working on advanced sensing and signal processing technologies, you will be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, validation and ongoing maintenance. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working across both analogue and digital electronics.

The successful candidate will possess strong hardware design expertise, embedded C programming skills and extensive experience with digital signal processing techniques (DSP).
