Job summary

Delta XD Limited is seeking an experienced Digital Image Correlation Specialist to own our full-field 3D testing capability in the UK & Ireland. You will lead DIC projects on-site and in-house, develop workflows, and support sales with demonstrations and technical validation.

You will train users, present findings, and build relationships with key customers while collaborating with ZEISS HQ to influence product development. The role requires travel and relocation flexibility to serve UK & Europe.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with DIC systems (e.g. ZEISS ARAMIS).
• Strong understanding of experimental mechanics and full-field deformation analysis.
• Competence in camera setup, calibration, synchronization and data workflow.
• Experience in aerospace, structural or materials testing preferred.
• Able to work independently on customer sites and manage end-to-end test deliveries.
• Confident communicator for presentations, reports and discussions.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead specialist for Digital Image Correlation and full-field 3D testing.
• Deliver DIC measurement projects on-site and in-house across industry and R&D.
• Support system sales with live demonstrations, test planning and technical validation.
• Provide first-class customer support and consultancy for ZEISS ARAMIS systems.
• Deliver DIC training for new and experienced users.
• Develop and document best-practice workflows for test setup and post-processing.
• Build Delta XD’s DIC service offering where sales are not the right route.
• Produce high-quality reports (strain maps, validation studies, fatigue assessments).
• Represent Delta XD through conference presentations and technical content.
