Job summary

Roke in Gloucester is seeking a DevOps & Infrastructure Lead to deliver and maintain high-throughput data platforms for National Security customers, spanning on-premise and cloud environments. You will lead hands-on DevOps and infrastructure engineering, shaping platform roadmaps and driving secure, scalable services.

You'll mentor engineers, implement CI/CD, GitOps and IaC using ArgoCD, Terraform and Helm, and ensure observability with Prometheus and Grafana in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading DevOps teams on secure cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Proven ability to design and operate high-throughput data platforms.
• Familiar with CI/CD, GitOps and IaC tooling (ArgoCD, Terraform, Helm).

Responsibilities

• Lead the DevOps and infrastructure engineering team.
• Shape platform roadmaps with engineering and customer leads.
• Develop and operate high-throughput on-prem and cloud data platforms.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment with ArgoCD.
• Mentor engineers and promote secure, scalable practices.
