Job summary

Aker Systems Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to shape secure cloud platforms for public and private sector clients. You will lead development and deployment of automated, scalable infrastructure with a focus on security and high performance.

Responsibilities include CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), Kubernetes, Docker, and mentoring a team to deliver reliable solutions. A UK Government SC clearance is preferred; salary is competitive including benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years' working experience in a DevOps capacity.
• Experience deploying and operating infrastructure (network, servers, services) on AWS and other cloud environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy cloud-based infrastructure and applications using CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Contribute to coding of custom test automation frameworks.
• Maintain and update scripts in response to requirements.
• Set up and maintain environments for testing and production.
• Provide production support and incident resolution.
• Mentor and lead team members to deliver on customer requirements.
