Job summary

Connect2Hackney are recruiting a Lead Developer on behalf of the London Borough of Hackney. In this technical leadership role, you will own environment management, deployment pipelines, integration stability, and data security across NEC ecosystem and core technical platforms.

You will drive high standards for release management, QA, and governance while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable delivery across development and production environments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex technical environments and pipelines.
• Experience with environment configuration and deployment strategies.
• Hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and sign-off on third‑party integrations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, migration assurance, and database security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and safeguard health of Dev, Test, Pre-Prod, Training and Prod environments.
• Coordinate deployment schedules, maintenance windows and release sign-offs.
• Test, troubleshoot and formally sign off on third‑party APIs and integrations.
• Oversee data migrations and enforce data masking and security protocols in non-production and training environments.
