Job summary

The Child Maintenance Service within the Department for Work and Pensions is seeking a Management Information Development & Reporting Lead Developer to Plymouth. This role leads the creation and delivery of management information from concept through to delivery, driving performance improvements and operational outcomes across CMS.

You will commission new MIS requirements for CMS Senior Leaders, Operational Managers and others across wider DWP, while coaching and guiding a team and ensuring

• Experience delivering management information reporting from concept to delivery.
• Proven ability to assure quality and compliance with data security and policy.
• Strong communication and coaching skills for Directors and Operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of management information from concept to delivery to support performance improvements and operational delivery within CMS.
• Commission new MIS requirements for CMS Senior Leaders, Operational Managers and others across wider DWP.
• Effectively use resources, including leading and developing others to deliver products within timescales and communicate performance analyses.
• Ensure reports, products and written advice are delivered on time and in compliance with data security and policy.
• Develop and implement an assurance strategy to quality assure all products and embed continual improvement.
• Lead or task-manage a team of EOs with strong communication and emotional intelligence to support senior leaders.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder engagement across CMS and DWP to resolve national performance and reporting queries.
• Be accountable for supporting a performance culture with appropriate challenge and support to Directors and Operational leaders.
