Job summary

You will take ownership of the design process across pre-construction to delivery, coordinating consultants and in-house teams to drive programme compliance and buildability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Design Manager within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of independently running design on projects.
• Experience with main contractors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Taking full responsibility for design management of allocated projects.
• Managing the design process from pre-construction through to completion.
• Developing and managing design programmes and information release schedules.
• Coordinating architects, engineers, subcontractors and external consultants.
• Reviewing drawings and specs to identify design issues and buildability concerns.
• Chairing design team meetings and tracking actions.
• Managing RFIs, design changes and technical queries.
• Ensuring design information aligns with construction programme.
• Collaborating with site and commercial teams to resolve design risks.
• Maintaining accurate design records and documentation.
