Job summary

Sesame is seeking a senior Front-End Engineer to own the client experience end to end, including journey, interaction logic, look and feel, and consistency. You will build dense financial interfaces in React/TypeScript and establish patterns for others while shaping the production design system.

You will collaborate with investment professionals and product teams, review peers’ work, and ensure scalable, performance-driven interfaces under load, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted design

Qualifications

5+ years in front-end engineering, ideally React and TypeScript.
Experience building and maintaining a design system in production.
Experience with data-dense interfaces at scale, including virtualised tables, charting, and performance under real load.
Fluency with AI-assisted development and the specification skill described in the posting.
Willingness to work directly with users and own the experience, not the implementation alone.
Comfortable reviewing others’ work, teaching, and holding a quality standard.

Ability to discuss shipped interfaces and the decisions behind them
Interview process may include a portfolio or work conversation, a practical exercise based on a real Sesame flow, and a working session with a product manager and an engineer
