Job summary

ReQuire Consultancy Ltd, based in Salisbury, is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a British manufacturer and take a leading technical role within an established Design & Engineering team.

You will own complex design projects from concept through to manufacture, mentoring others and collaborating with Manufacturing, Operations and Sales to deliver robust solutions on site.

Qualifications

• Strong background in design engineering for manufactured products.
• Experience with CAD and ownership of engineering projects.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take technical lead on key design and engineering projects.
• Develop practical, robust and commercially viable engineering solutions.
• Take projects from concept through to detailed design and manufacture.
• Provide guidance on complex engineering challenges as they arise.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure designs are producible.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers.
