Job summary

Future plc is seeking a Senior Technical Design Engineer to join its expanding Design and Technical team. The role requires strong practical mechanical knowledge and a good understanding of electrical systems, controls and technical design.

The successful candidate will own day-to-day design activities, including mechanical design, drawings, schematics, BOMs and technical documentation, and provide guidance to the Design Team. This is a full-time, permanent position with Future plc.

Qualifications

• Strong practical mechanical knowledge and design experience.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with BOM creation and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day design activities including mechanical design and drawings.
• Review design work and provide technical guidance to the Design Team.
• Act as a key contact for technical queries across the business.

Our Client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Technical Design Engineer to join their expanding Design and Technical team. This is a varied role suited to an Engineer with strong practical mechanical knowledge, combined with a very good understanding of electrical systems, controls and technical design.

In this role, the successful Candidate will take ownership of a range of day-to-day design engineering and design activities, including mechanical design, technical drawings, schematics, BOMs and technical documentation. You will provide technical guidance to other members of the Design Team, review design engineering work and act as a key point of contact for technical queries from across the business.
