Job summary

CBSbutler is supporting a leading UK advanced engineering and defence manufacturer to appoint a Senior Project Engineer who will lead complex engineering and manufacturing projects from concept through production and customer acceptance.

You will own multiple projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage schedules, risks and change control, and ensure delivery of products to quality and regulatory standards. ERP readiness and continuous improvement are key components of the role.

As part of this growth, we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of complex engineering and manufacturing projects from concept through to production and customer acceptance.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role within a highly regulated environment, working alongside engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and customer teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role - Senior Project Engineer

You’ll take ownership of multiple manufacturing engineering projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll develop and manage integrated project schedules, monitor progress, manage risks and communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external customers.

You’ll also play an important role in manufacturing readiness, supporting ERP developments, driving continuous improvement and ensuring projects are delivered in line with demanding engineering and quality standards.
