We are looking to hire a Lead Delivery Engineer (DevOps & CI/CD Leadership) to join our global Technology team. This is a challenging, fast-paced, and exciting environment with plenty of opportunities to influence and grow the technology area.

Role Description

This role is critical in shaping and guiding the technical strategy and execution of platform engineering efforts, with a strong focus on modernizing infrastructure, scaling CI/CD capabilities, and championing engineering excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in cloud-native platforms, infrastructure as code, and automation—paired with a strong leadership presence and a collaborative Dev.

Delivery Engineering Team

Delivery Engineering is an internal platform team focused on building and improving systems to accelerate the delivery of software and infrastructure. Our team’s first target will be enabling DevOps practices due to their direct impact on overall processes and culture.

The primary goal of Delivery Engineering is to build the “Golden Path” to production by automating and concentrating improvements around bottlenecks such as integration points and handoffs. We will work closely with Development teams to break down silos, help build more resilient pipelines, continuously improve the delivery system, and promote better delivery practices/processes. We are currently reviewing the future possibility of becoming a fully supportive on-call operational team.

The Lead Delivery Engineer (DevOps & CI/CD Leadership) will act as a technical mentor and cross-team enabler, driving alignment, reliability, and innovation in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Proven experience leading the design of scalable delivery platforms and CI/CD pipelines
• Mentorship and guidance for junior and mid-level engineers; fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Collaboration with product and engineering teams to align and efficiently balance platform capabilities with delivery needs
• Own and drive cross-team technical initiatives and migrations to modernized platforms (e.g., Jenkins to GitLab-CI)
• Ensure high standards in platform reliability, developer experience (DevEx), security, capacity, and performance
• Contribute to hiring efforts, onboarding, and knowledge sharing
• Support incident management and response, embedding operational excellence
• Champion cost awareness, focusing on observability and performance optimization
• Enhance team skills through knowledge sharing, setting quality and engineering benchmarks
• Understand and advocate for non-functional requirements like monitoring, alerting, and logging

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in senior or lead infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
• Experience leading engineering projects or teams, both technically and managerially (50/50 role)
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders, prioritizing and implementing in a dynamic environment
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (OCI, GCP) and Kubernetes ecosystems
• Deep expertise in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, FluxCD), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible), Kubernetes, Docker, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), scripting (Bash, Golang), and security best practices
• Proven track record of platform modernization, deployment process improvements, and driving engineering efficiency
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively in Linux environments
