Job summary

The NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a 1-year fixed term DBT-A clinician within CAMHS. The post focuses on delivering an evidence-based pathway for adolescents with high-risk behaviours and emotional dysregulation, including self-harm and suicidal ideation.

The role aims to reduce admissions and improve transition planning. You will lead individual therapy, family sessions and group components, working with CAMHS and external partners to ensure safe, timely access and high-quality

Qualifications

• Specialist DBT assessments for young people with complex emotional needs.
• Experience working in CAMHS or similar adolescent mental health settings.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and with external services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the full DBT-A program including individual therapy and family sessions.
• Coordinate with CAMHS, crisis teams and schools to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to service development, audits and clinical governance.
