Qualifications

• Experience building, training, testing and evaluating ML systems.
• Strong Python and Java skills; familiarity with OOP.
• Experience with GenAI/LLM evaluation and automated eval harnesses.
• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Automation & EDD LLMs: lead AI model deployment to automate case summaries, red flag generation, risk classifications.
• Evaluation Framework & Labeling Taxonomy: establish labeling guidelines, datasets, and eval harnesses for accuracy, precision and recall.
• Prompt Optimization & Experimentation: audit prompts and run few-shot and chain-of-thought experiments to reduce hallucinations and drift.
• Shadow Testing & Monitoring: design shadow deployments and post-deployment monitoring for data and output drift.
• Full-Stack Deployment: own the production pipeline and ship production-ready Python services.
• Human-in-the-Loop Architecture: ensure humans retain final decision authority for critical financial crime assessments.
• Strategic Demand Deflection: analyze upstream data to reduce financial crime attempts before they reach ops.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: set direction and guide senior/junior scientists, governance and best practices.
