Job summary

TodayTix Group is hiring a Lead Data Engineer to scale our data platform — the backbone connecting product, growth, finance, and CX. You’ll own end‑to‑end data workflows, mentor engineers, and shape architecture across staging, intermediates, and marts.

You’ll drive CI/CD and Snowflake operations while enabling AI tooling for the organization. This is a technical leadership role, balancing architecture, strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑moving, ownership‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering or software with a strong data focus.
• Experience leading engineers and growing teams.
• Proven record of building scalable data platforms with dbt and Snowflake.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization skills.
• Comfort with AI-enabled data workflows and tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform end‑to‑end — dbt project (staging → intermediates → marts), CI/CD, and Snowflake infra.
• Design onboarding of new data sources as TTG scales.
• Partner with product, growth, finance, CX to model new sources cleanly.
• Run intake and prioritisation on a high‑demand roadmap; balance analytics and AI initiatives.
• Protect data quality with tests, contracts, and CI checks.
• Provide architectural review and code guidance to improve team output.
• Lead and grow the team with regular 1:1s and career development.
• Pave the way for AI integration as a core consumer of the warehouse.
