Job summary

TodayTix Group is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own and scale the data platform that powers product, growth, finance and CX. You’ll oversee staging, intermediates, marts, and the CI/CD pipeline, while guiding architecture and cross-functional delivery.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, strategy, and collaboration with portfolio teams to absorb new data sources, markets, and AI tooling, with a focus on high ownership and impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering or related leadership experience.
• Deep SQL and dbt expertise with production-grade projects.
• Hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
• Proven ability to scale data platforms across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform end-to-end: dbt project, CI/CD, Snowflake infra.
• Design onboarding of new data sources as TTG scales.
• Partner with product, growth, finance, CX to model new sources cleanly.
• Prioritise a high-demand roadmap across reporting, growth analytics, and AI tooling.
• Protect data quality with dbt tests and contract schemas; CI checks changes before dashboards.
• Provide technical direction for the warehouse and lead code reviews.
• Lead and grow the team with 1:1s and career development.
• Push AI into team workflows and support AI agents as consumers of the warehouse.
