Job summary

AND Digital is seeking a Lead Data Solution Engineer to help clients deploy and maintain production-safe data pipelines, using modern technologies and a DataOps culture. You’ll work in fast-moving, agile, multi-disciplinary teams delivering data solutions to clients across sectors.

You’ll design and implement end-to-end data platforms on cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure or GCP), with hands-on experience in data modelling, quality, and orchestration tools, driving business

Responsibilities

• Develop pipelines that bring data to life for decision-making, either delivering insight or for more sophisticated AI & machine learning applications.
• Hands-on data work focusing on quality, flow, and organization of information and data modelling approaches.
• Be comfortable working in an agile environment with multi-disciplinary teams delivering modern data platforms for various organisations.
• Practical hands-on experience designing, architecting & deploying AI-enabled solutions on at least one cloud data platform (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure or GCP) and related technologies (e.g. DynamoDB, Redshift, Kinesis, Glue, Lambda, QuickSight).
• Strong Databricks expertise is a must (certifications preferred) with Snowflake and/or MS Fabric as a bonus.
• Experience using SQL and orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow/Prefect/Dagster) to develop production-grade pipelines.
• Hands-on DataOps experience (CI/CD, version control, IaC).
• Adopt a Data Product mindset ensuring datasets are discoverable, addressable, trustworthy, and self-describing.
