Job summary

Foodbuy is seeking a Data & Insight Analyst to join our growing Analytics team in Chertsey. This hybrid role combines hands-on analytics with leadership, owning insight delivery and mentoring a small team of analysts.

You will translate data into strategic business outcomes, partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive performance across Compass Group UK & Ireland. The role offers hybrid flexibility and exposure to a FTSE 100 environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science, analytics or BI.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Redshift/Databricks or similar.
• Proven ability to build impactful data visualisations (Power BI).
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI models, dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Build and deploy advanced analytics and ML models.
• Collaborate with data engineering to shape data pipelines.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of analysts.
• Work with senior leaders to deliver insight-led solutions.
• Present clear insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
