Data Governance Analyst role in London for a law firm, supported by DGH Recruitment Limited. The role focuses on governance, metadata, and data quality initiatives within a professional services environment.

You will work with Data Stewards and business stakeholders to understand data needs, develop training, and promote best practices across the firm while helping implement the data strategy and governance framework.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• 2-4 years' experience in similar role such as Business Analyst or Data Governance Analyst
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of data management, governance, data quality and metadata principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across business and technology teams
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsabilidades

• Work with Data Stewards and business stakeholders to understand data needs and support adoption of the Firm's Data Governance Framework
• Support the Metadata Register, including Business Data Glossary, Data Dictionary, CDE Register, Ownership Matrix and Data Quality Rules
• Develop and maintain data lineage information to show how data is created, transformed, shared and used across the Firm
• Develop user stories, use cases and functional requirements, and track issues through governance processes
• Establish and manage reference data and reference list processes with clear ownership and approval
• Deliver Data Steward training and guidance, ensuring materials are accurate and up-to-date
• Promote adoption and effective use of the Firm's data artefacts, processes and standards
• Support implementation of the Firm's Data Strategy to improve data management and data use
