CSC in Greater London is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to lead the enterprise data governance program within a federated model. You will partner with data owners, stewards, and technology teams to establish consistent governance practices, improve metadata and data quality, and support privacy, retention, and risk compliance.

The role focuses on coordinating governance activities, promoting standards adoption, and delivering dashboards and reports on governance metrics.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business, Information Systems, Data Management or related field.
• Preferred CDMP or comparable data management certification.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in data governance and related fields.
• Experience applying GDPR/CCPA in a corporate environment.
• Hands-on experience with data catalog platforms such as Informatica, Purview, Collibra, or Alation.
• Proficient in SQL to pull, audit and analyze data.
• DAMA-DMBOK principles and governance best practices knowledge.
• Familiarity with metadata management, data glossaries, catalogs, and lineage.

Responsabilidades

• Support the implementation and maturation of the enterprise data governance framework.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, procedures, and operating models.
• Facilitate governance councils, stewardship forums, working groups, and governance meetings.
• Track governance initiatives, decisions, risks, and remediation actions.
• Promote governance awareness and adoption across business and technology teams.
• Coordinate stewardship activities across data domains and functions.
• Monitor metadata completeness and governance compliance.
• Report on data quality trends and governance outcomes.
