Job summary

Radius is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own our data platforms and shape how data drives decisions across our global organisation. This is a hands-on technical leadership role designing, building, and optimising scalable data solutions while mentoring a growing team.

Based in Crewe, you’ll work at the heart of Group Data Services & Reporting, influence architecture and data strategy, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful data solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Data Engineer in complex environments
Deep understanding of ETL/ELT, data architecture, and data quality frameworks
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to shape solutions from ambiguity
Curiosity and a passion for turning data into meaningful business value
Advantageous: experience with AWS Redshift, dbt and Databricks; data tooling

Responsibilities

Designing and delivering complex data pipelines and data models at scale
Collaborating with stakeholders to turn business needs into impactful data solutions
Driving development of our data platform, including AI/ML-ready architecture
Establishing best practices across data governance, quality, and security
