Job summary

LFC Foundation in Liverpool seeks an Associate, Lead Data Engineer to help deliver and evolve the enterprise data platform and warehouses. You will design and support scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, data models, APIs and AWS-based data solutions, while guiding offshore teams and ensuring architectural standards and long-term maintainability.

Working with AWS S3, Lambda, Fargate, Glue, Redshift, SQL and Python, you will ensure reliability, performance and data governance across the club's

Qualifications

• Senior data engineering, data warehousing and ETL experience.
• Strong data modelling, transformation and quality management.
• Solid software engineering practices and maintainability.
• Experience with Agile and offshore/nearshore teams.
• Ability to lead, challenge designs, and ensure scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain data pipelines, ETL, APIs, and data platform services.
• Work with AWS S3, Lambda, Fargate, Glue, Redshift, SQL and Python.
• Provide technical leadership to offshore teams and ensure code quality.
• Contribute to data governance, lineage, quality, and performance.
• Support planning and prioritisation of data engineering work.
