Qualifikationen

• Chartered Engineer in Building Services (CIBSE/IMechE) or within 6–12 months of achieving it.
• Significant experience in Mechanical Engineering within a consulting environment.
• Experience across data centre design and construction stages, incl. cooling, PUE/WUE, resilience/TIER levels, and testing/commissioning.
• Proficiency in energy modelling tools and relevant design software.
• Experience leading the development and implementation of Mechanical Engineering solutions.

• Lead collaborative efforts within the team to develop detailed design models and simulations for mechanical and HVAC systems in data centre projects, utilising advanced modelling techniques and industry best practices.

• Proactively manage project activities to ensure alignment with strategic and commercial objectives and effectively address any significant conflicts or challenges, leveraging extensive expertise to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Assume primary responsibility for designated segments of design projects, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards and precision in execution, while representing the team in key internal and client-facing meetings to provide expert insights and recommendations.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for a candidate who:

Is a Chartered Engineer (or within 6–12 months of achieving it) in Building Services. (CIBSE / IMechE) and

• Has significant experience in Mechanical Engineering within a consulting business environment.
• Experience across all data centre design and construction stages, including cooling solutions, PUE/WUE efficiency, resilience/TIER levels, and testing/commissioning.
• Proficiency in relevant software including design and energy modelling tools.
• Experience in leading the development and implementation of Mechanical Engineering solutions across a range of projects.
• Strong technical expertise in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
