Job summary

PRS is seeking an Engineering Manager (M&E) to lead a four‑person shift engineering team in a Central London data centre. You will oversee 24/7 mechanical and electrical infrastructure including HV/LV systems, UPS, gensets, cooling, BMS and safety procedures.

Reporting to the on‑site DC Operations Manager, you will drive safety culture, incident response, and continuous improvement while coordinating with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Recognised technical qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience managing or supervising engineering teams in a 24/7 critical facility.
• Health and safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of M&E shift engineers for 24/7 data centre operations.
• Provide clear leadership, direction and technical support to the shift team.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and development discussions.
• Establish objectives and performance expectations for the team.
• Support capacity planning, upgrades and project work.
• Act as escalation point for engineering incidents and safety incidents.
