Job summary

Wise is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join the Platform Pricing Analytics team. This IC3 role will focus on identifying strategic pricing and cost problems, driving profitability, and improving data quality and cost allocation methodologies.

You will work across analytics, engineering, and business teams to influence pricing decisions. You will lead investigations into upstream data quality, explain the economics behind prices, and monitor financial performance to uncover actionable insights

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics.
• Advanced stakeholder management skills across analytics, engineering, and business teams.
• Extensive SQL experience to build and maintain complex data sources.
• Experience with dbt and robust data modelling for scalable analytics.
• Ability to navigate complex dbt projects and create reusable data assets.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and solve strategic pricing and cost problems for Wise Platform to drive profitability and growth.
• Lead investigations into cost data, improving data quality and allocation methodologies in Product Economics.
• Explain product economics driving prices and liaise with SMEs for economic driver knowledge.
• Monitor Wise Platform financial performance and surface actionable insights on profitability drivers.
• Contribute to improvements to the pricing model using knowledge of costs and drivers.
