Job summary

The Money and Pensions Service in Bedford is seeking a Lead D365/Power Platform Developer to provide hands-on technical leadership and establish engineering standards for Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform. You will lead the Community of Practice, mentor developers, oversee Azure integrations and ALM, and ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with organisational architecture.

You'll work closely with architects, product owners and DevOps to deliver reliable deployments across DEV, TEST, UAT

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on Dynamics 365 CE/CRM development experience (8+ years).
Deep knowledge of Dataverse and model-driven Power Apps.
Experience with Azure integration technologies (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus).
Proven leadership, mentoring and line-management experience within software teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical design, development and implementation of Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions.
Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Define and enforce development standards, ALM, testing and governance.
Mentor D365/Power Platform developers and integration engineers.
Oversee Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and secure deployments.
Collaborate with Architects, BAs, POs and other tech teams.
