Job summary

Michael Page Technology is recruiting for a brand new role in the Not For Profit sector: Lead D365 Developer. You will balance hands-on Dynamics 365 engineering with the people management of a small team (5 engineers). The role supports 1-2 days in the London office with the rest remote.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining D365 solutions, architecture guidance, planning, code reviews, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver robust integrations and system improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have Microsoft Dynamics CE
• Able to configure and customise D365
• Currently managing a small team or mentoring
• Strong communicator with stakeholders and team
• Basic C# knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on coding in Dynamics 365 and manage a small team of 5 engineers (approx. 50/50 split)
• Contribute to project planning, 1-to-1s, code reviews, peer reviews and architecture vision
• Develop, customise, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business needs
• Gather and analyse requirements with stakeholders for system improvements
• Ensure integration of D365 with other systems and third-party apps

Description

• This role is a mix of hands on coding in D365 and managing the 5 D365 engineers - around a 50/50 split
• Alongside coding you will help with project planning, 1 to 1s, code reviews, peer review, architecture vision etc
• Develop, customise, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for system improvements.
• Ensure the integration of D365 with other systems and third‑party applications.
• Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations to the development team.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Oversee the deployment of updates and enhancements to the D365 platform.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

Profile

Must haves:

• Microsoft Dynamics CE
• Able to configure and customise D365 - not just one of them
• Currently managing a small team, or mentoring and looking to take the next step up - full management training will be provided
• Strong communicator who can deal with the stakeholders, the wider business and your team
• Basic C# knowledge
