Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Lead D365 Developer for a Not For Profit client. The role blends hands-on coding with line management of five D365 engineers. The position is based with 1–2 days in the London office and the rest remote, offering a diverse range of Dynamics 365 responsibilities.

You will develop, customize, and maintain D365 solutions, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver system improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and customizing D365 CE.
• Managing a small team or mentoring, with training provided.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and business teams.
• Basic C# knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on coding and manage a team of 5 D365 engineers (roughly 50/50).
• Contribute to project planning, 1:1s, code reviews and architecture vision.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Dynamics 365 solutions to business needs.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and analyse system improvements.

Description

• This role is a mix of hands on coding in D365 and managing the 5 D365 engineers - around a 50/50 split
• Alongside coding you will help with project planning, 1 to 1s, code reviews, peer review, architecture vision etc
• Develop, customise, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for system improvements.
• Ensure the integration of D365 with other systems and third-party applications.
• Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations to the development team.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Oversee the deployment of updates and enhancements to the D365 platform.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

Profile

Must haves:

• Microsoft Dynamics CE
• Able to configure and customise D365 - not just one of them
• Currently managing a small team, or mentoring and looking to take the next step up - full management training will be provided
• Strong communicator who can deal with the stakeholders, the wider buisness and your team
• Basic C# knowledge
