Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a Not For Profit client in London to hire a Lead D365 Developer. The role combines hands-on Dynamics development with leading a small team of five engineers, requiring 1–2 days per week in the London office and the remainder from home.

You will develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solutions, while coordinating with stakeholders for requirements and ensuring smooth integration with other systems.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Dynamics CE is essential.
• Experience in leading a small team or mentoring is required.
• Strong communication with stakeholders across the business and team.
• Basic C# knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 5-person D365 engineering team with a 50/50 hands-on to leadership split.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and plan architecture.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Dynamics 365 solutions for business needs.
• Oversee code reviews, peer reviews, and deployment of updates to the D365 platform.
• Provide technical guidance and best-practice recommendations to the team.

Our client is in the Not For Profit Sector and they are looking to hire for a brand new role - a Lead D365 Developer. This role will be a mix of hands on coding and managing a small team of 5 other D365 Engineers. This role is 1-2 days a week in the office in London and the rest at home.

Description

• This role is a mix of hands on coding in D365 and managing the 5 D365 engineers - around a 50/50 split
• Alongside coding you will help with project planning, 1 to 1s, code reviews, peer review, architecture vision etc
• Develop, customise, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for system improvements.
• Ensure the integration of D365 with other systems and third-party applications.
• Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations to the development team.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Oversee the deployment of updates and enhancements to the D365 platform.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

Profile

Must haves

• Currently managing a small team, or mentoring and looking to take the next step up - full management training will be provided
• Strong communicator who can deal with the stakeholders, the wider business and your team
