Evans Cycles is seeking a skilled Cycle Technician to join our workshop, delivering repairs, servicing, and safety checks to keep customers riding confidently. You’ll apply technical expertise and provide friendly, clear advice to customers.

Qualifications

• Experienced bicycle mechanic with broad repairs.
• Workshop experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bike components and brands.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety.
• Confident communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of bicycle repairs including brake adjustments, gear tuning, wheel truing, drivetrain maintenance, and suspension servicing.
• Assemble new bicycles to manufacturer guidelines and ensure they are safe and ready for sale.
• Conduct service consultations with customers, diagnose issues, and provide clear repair recommendations and estimates.
• Support customers in selecting parts, upgrades, and accessories for their bikes.
• Perform safety inspections to highlight and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain high standards of quality control so every repair meets safety and service expectations.
• Organise the workshop, manage spare parts, tools, and stock efficiently.
• Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs, offering advice, and ensuring riders leave confident in their bike.
