Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role

As a Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Need To Do
  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team training.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef to recruit and develop your team.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions on your feet.
What We Look For
  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring approach.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards in food safety and hygiene.
  • Financial acumen in managing kitchen performance, GP, and stock.
  • Ability to manage labour costs effectively.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team.
  • Commitment to inclusivity and respect within the team.
  • Problem-solving skills and quick decision-making abilities.
