Job summary

Babcock is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex rail infrastructure projects at Custom House, Belfast. The role combines onsite and hybrid work, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule and a focus on safety, quality and governance.

You will manage budgets, resources and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners to hit milestones and deliver value for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering projects within the construction, infrastructure, engineering or rail sectors.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong project management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, resources and project risks.
• Demonstrable ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Rail industry experience or rail systems knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex projects from initiation through to completion.
• Oversee programme performance, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate project teams, suppliers and stakeholders to meet objectives and milestones.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and governance requirements.
