Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Project Manager for the Belfast area. The role involves leading complex projects from initiation through completion, overseeing budgets and resources, and coordinating with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

The position is based at Custom House, Belfast, with hybrid working and a 35-hour week, Monday to Friday. Prior rail/infra experience is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Qualification in a relevant Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering projects within construction, infrastructure, engineering or rail sectors.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong PM experience including budgets, schedules, resources and risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of complex projects from initiation through to completion.
• Oversee programme performance, manage project resources and budgets.
• Coordinate project teams, suppliers and stakeholders to achieve milestones.
• Maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and governance requirements.
