Amentum is recruiting a Lead Control & Instrumentation Engineer for the LSS1 project in the UK. You will lead C&I engineering across all lifecycle stages, delivering safe, compliant solutions that meet project requirements.

You will supervise C&I engineers and designers, drive deliverables, and coordinate with electrical, mechanical, process, and BIM teams to ensure seamless integration and project success.

Formación

• BEng/MEng in Control & Instrumentation or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status or ability to achieve soon.
• Experience leading C&I teams on complex projects in regulated industries.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and delivery of C&I engineering across all project phases from concept to handover.
• Head all C&I activities within the project ensuring safe, compliant, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Act as the discipline lead for C&I, providing leadership and governance to the team.
• Manage and coordinate a team of C&I engineers and designers to meet objectives.
• Lead production, review, and approval of C&I deliverables per procedures and standards.
• Oversee design/integration of control, instrumentation, functional safety, PLC-based systems and interfaces.
• Provide technical leadership to supply chain partners and review supplier designs.
• Ensure multidisciplinary integration with electrical, mechanical, process, civil, commissioning and BIM reviews.
