Job summary

Amentum is recruiting a Lead Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join the Warrington team. You will lead C&I engineering across all lifecycle stages, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering to project requirements.

The role requires leading teams, strong knowledge of control/instrumentation systems and functional safety, and the ability to coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Control & Instrumentation or related engineering field.
• CEng status or path to it required.
• Experience leading C&I teams on nuclear or highly regulated projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of C&I engineering across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure safety, compliance and delivery to requirements.
• Act as discipline lead providing governance and direction to the team.
• Manage and coordinate C&I engineers and designers.
• Oversee design and integration of control and instrumentation systems.
