Job summary

Amentum in Warrington, UK is recruiting a Lead C&I Engineer to drive controls and instrumentation delivery on the Lightly Shielded Store 1 project at Sellafield, within the PPP framework. The role sits in a high-value, nuclear-like regulated environment with a long-term future.

You will lead a team of C&I engineers, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with electrical, mechanical, process and BIM teams to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

Degree in Control & Instrumentation or related engineering field.
Chartered Engineer status or ability to achieve soon.
Experience leading C&I teams on complex, regulated projects.

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of C&I engineering across all project phases.
Ensure safety, compliance and delivery to project requirements.
Act as discipline lead for C&I and provide leadership to the team.
Coordinate resources of C&I engineers and designers to meet objectives.
Oversee design and integration of control, instrumentation and safety systems.
Provide technical guidance to supply chain partners and review designs.
Ensure multidisciplinary integration with other teams and BIM processes.
