Job summary

One Way Resourcing seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established main contractor serving the Hitchin area. You will oversee multiple live construction projects from start to handover, collaborating with Site Managers, clients and subcontractors to maintain momentum.

The role covers groundworks through steel frame, envelope, internal works and fit-out, with responsibilities including risk management, progress reporting and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Previous Contracts Manager experience with a main contractor.
• Experience delivering projects between £1m and £10m.
• Experience managing 2–3 projects simultaneously and coordinating site teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing 2–3 construction projects simultaneously.
• Overseeing projects valued between £1m and £10m.
• Taking responsibility for projects from groundworks through handover.
• Overseeing groundworks, structural and steel frame packages.
• Coordinating internal works and fit-out packages.
• Leading client and project meetings and maintaining relationships.
