Romans Recruitment Group Ltd in the Hertfordshire/Essex region is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple civils and groundworks projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, cost and quality.

You will lead site teams, manage budgets, review performance, and maintain client and subcontractor relationships, with a strong focus on delivery against contract obligations.

This is a full-time permanent role with salary £80,000–£120,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in civils and groundworks.
• Strong understanding of concrete structures and infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing multiple live projects and site teams.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management.
• Full UK driving licence.

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a leading and well-established concrete, groundworks and civil engineering contractor operating across Hertfordshire, Essex and the surrounding regions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role would suit a commercially aware and driven Contracts Manager with a strong background in civils and groundworks.
