Job summary

G2 Legal Limited in Hale is seeking an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to lead and develop the firm's contentious probate practice. You will manage your own caseload and provide leadership to junior lawyers within the team.

You will report to the Head of Litigation and have scope to shape the growth of the department as the workload increases, maintaining high standards of client care and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Approx five or more years' PQE in contentious probate.
• Strong capacity to manage a busy caseload and supervise junior team members.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities with a client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the firm's contentious probate practice, reporting to the Head of Litigation.
• Manage a busy caseload from instruction to resolution.
• Oversee and support the Newly Qualified Solicitor and Paralegal.
• Provide technical guidance, supervision and mentoring to junior team members.
• Take ownership of the team’s growing caseload and ensure matters progress efficiently.
• Help grow the practice as demand increases.
• Maintain high standards of client care, technical accuracy and case management.
