Job summary

eNL is seeking an accomplished Head of Construction in Birmingham to lead the growth of the firm's construction practice. You will take ownership of the Birmingham offering, combining technical expertise with commercial judgment to drive the next stage of the team’s development.

With a national platform backing you, you will shape strategy, strengthen client relationships and secure opportunities across construction and real estate sectors, including development projects and contentious matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the construction practice in Birmingham, setting the strategic direction for future growth.
• Advise on a broad range of contentious and/or non-contentious construction matters, depending on area of expertise.
• Build on existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities across construction, development and real estate markets.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's national network to maximise cross-referral opportunities.
• Recruit, mentor and develop lawyers to support the expansion of the practice.
• Play a key role in raising the profile of the construction team and strengthening its position in the Birmingham market.
• Contribute to the wider strategic objectives of the firm as part of the partnership.
